After buying a Motorsport Elise early on in the game and being very dissapointed with it's performance around corners.I consigned her to a dark corner of my garage never to see the light of day again after failing to find any setups that suited my style of driving. :(
Anyhoo, last week (as many of you know) i passed my rally licence and had the strange desire to fit dirt tyres to the tail happy Elise and take her out for a spin(no pun intended).
You know what? It doesn't make a bad rally car,i don't think she'll win much but she's a ton of fun sliding around the corners and thankfully there isn't any suspension damage modelled.
If you got an Elise gathering dust in yer garage take her out and give her a blast round 1 of the rally circuits. :D

Cool, I'll check it out.

I had the same thing happen to me with the first car I purchased in the game. My Miata (forget which one:confused:, but it's the one that's shown with the top down). Seems that the minute I won a Lancer EvoIV, I added the mods, and just forgot about the Miata.

Well a couple of days ago, I went to race a series (Forgot which one though) that I haden't done, and saw that all the AI cars were normal cars. I wanted a challenge, and so I looked around my garage for a good car, that wasn't big on Hp. The only car I had like that was my dependable Miata:)!

lol:D. Is it just me, or did this just sound like a car commercial:p!

yeah right .....the Motorsports Elise handles amazing considering it's a road car and you can't adjust the downforce .........you just don't have it set up properly if it's tail-happy .....i'd like to send you some settings for this car and see your reacton ........this car has F1 handling characteristics ......i guess it's due to the extremely low weight and MR configuration ........i will say that it's one of the hardest to properly tune and most people miss out and rate this car badly ......if you matched the downforce of an F1 car with the Motorsports (even though you don't know the Elise setting) you would find that the handling is quite comparable

Schumy i'd be so grateful if you could send me a setup for the motorsport elise.I know it should be a great corner turner but as you said i probably havent got it setup right.I've been using a commercial setup for it from a site, but it still feel too tail happy. :(
