try fixing up the gt3 cars to real life or up to date ones....
fo- example the zo6 has 385 with oil change,...
but if you add semi muffler/air-cleaner and u get 405hp,
ya ikno its lame,
but if u are a die hard fan you would do stuff like this!!

the thing i hate is that HP is alot easier to get in the game than real life.....in real life exhuast only adds like 5 to 10 HP depending on the muffler
 
I have another idea. I've tried it myself before. Buy only the parts that increase power. And use the stock trans, suspension, ETC.

what i meant was hp wise, and if dere was new rims for car, find the latest ones at the wheel shop! dats all i meant SPEEDY 2 HAS the idea....

depends what car you're putting an exhaust on... hp gains on my car (a 92 integra gs-r with 160 hp stock) will gain about 8-10 hp.. but the same exhaust on a supra, for example with 320 hp stock will gain more hp... and some stock exhausts are more restrictive than others, for insurance reasons
i believe an intake on a new maxima will gain 15-20 hp.. but i may be confusing it with another car.... sorry... this is waaay off topic

in case you were wondering (you probably weren't :)) i have an hks hiper on my car:p
