When watching Lemans you cant but help notice the hundreds of marshalls trackside. Seeing them really gave the race a human element.

Things corner marshalls should do in game

- Wave flags. Blue, yellow, etc etc
- At times turn to watch the cars as they go by
- Walk around every now and then.
- Push stranded cars away from the race track

I like this, I think project CARS is getting something similar. I believe that this a first of it's kind in a game.

I used to volunteer as a Flag Marshall & I gotta say, it's as close as you can get without being in the car. It's not all glory though. Standing in the pouring rain or oppressive heat can sometimes have you questioning your sanity.
It's also a highly dangerous pastime and can be lethal if you don't pay attention.

I also agree that you shouldn't bump threads ;)

They could also crop up in photomode, getting in the way of all the photo's taken from the frustratingly few locations around real-world circuits where there aren't fences in the way. ;)

Having some sort of on-screen warning that there's trouble ahead on the track would come in handy. You'd hate to have your race ruined by smashing into another car without any warning as you round a corner or are some distance away from the trouble scene.
