Lights and Roofs, oh my...

I'm having a lot of fun in Photo mode, and yet I don't seem to be able to fully take advantage of all it has to offer.

I've noticed that on some Photo sites, the car's lights will automatically be on, and on some sites, a convertible car will sometimes have the roof off and sometimes on.

Is there a way to manually control these aspects ? If I wanna have the lights turned off, making it look like the car is parked, surely I should be able to turn them off

The headlights are dependent upon which track you're at. So if you're doing SSR5 they will be on, but for Midfield they'll be off.

And there is an option for opening or closing the roof so just look through the menu translations until you find it.

Has anyone got any idea where the roof up/down is to be found? I can't see it at all

The only place I've ever seen an option to open/close the roof is in single race in arcade mode. The same menu that comes up to select ASM/TCS, etc has the option. It is the last one on the list.

Roof option is only selectable in Arcade mode, but if you enter your car in a 2 car battle in GT mode like the Special Condition races it will be open there too.

Can anyone tell if the roof being open/closed has any effect on the handling physics of the car?

well if u look at some photomode pics the cars have their roof down and are customized ( spoiler and backfire ). People r already sayin that u cnt race garage cars in arcade mode, so you must be able to have the roof down in gt mode http://img139.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img139&image=cobra3tb.jpg
