Lightweight K Cup interest thread

Hey there. I have a good plan for a championship that I hope will attract at least some interest (unlike my other attempts).

As the name suggests, I think that a cup for the many kei cars in the game would be good. It would encourage the use of some unloved cars and there will be a wide variety of cars that would be able for use. It would also make for some very close racing as well, even with power limits if there were any.

I think the races would be at least 10 miles if there was a power limit and at most 25 or more if there wasn't. The tracks I had in mind were simple tracks, namely Autumn Ring Mini, Grand Valley East, Tsukuba Circuit, Suzuka Circuit East Course and Clubman Stage Route 5.

As aforementioned, I don't know if a power limit would be necessary. It would make for more realism, but it wouldn't be nearly as exciting I think. Racing might still be close but the action would be slower with a power limit...so I want your opinion on if there should be a power limit.

Also I don't have any idea of what a good time for the races would be and if the lobbies where I would host the race should be public or private. So, I have 4 questions for you.

Are you interested?

Time (in GMT)?

and lounge type?

-I'm in the CST and could race nightly between 8-midnight.
-I would PP limit before I entertained the thought of power limiting.
-Have you thought about tires? As we have found out in the 450PP series...4WD overcomes a lot of driver inability in PP limited cars if you are using comfort or sport softs tires. Its a lot less in the SS tires though and I would recommend those as tire conservation comes into play.
-I would run open lounge to draw a crowd then send fr reqs to those who are not punting then move to private.
