Hi all,

I just started getting active again on here, so I figured I would share my antics with my current car. I recently picked up a 2012 BMW 128iA with 143k miles. It's a base car, but it's also the one of the last naturally aspirated BMWs ever. There's a few things I need to fix cosmetically and some upgrades, but mechanically, it is perfect.

The E36 is my roommate's project car. The E82 is exactly the same size.
The to-do list for the 128:
-install aluminum skid plate
-install stud conversion
-upgrade the air intake
-replace drivers seat
-would love to figure out how to get the bluetooth and USB audio working.
-exhaust might be in the future
-summer/track wheels and tires hopefully soon

I will update this thread with my progress and add in a little bit of my car history as well.

This weekend, the 128 got some love. Saturday, I got the first oil change done and put some stickers on the back window. I should have done the spark plugs and the aluminum skid plate, but I ran out of daylight. Then yesterday, I had the day off of work so I took it out and drove it 120 miles on some of my favorite roads in the area. Man, It felt so good! It drives so well that it makes me think how much better it will be on summer tires. Is it summer yet? I'll post pictures of the additions later.
