Can anyone tell me the optimum tuning adjustments for the Toyota Vitz 1.5? If so that would be greatly appreciated.

I find the Vitz performs much better on fire, on its roof, down a deep mine shaft, with a full tank of fuel...

Hmm. Find a nice Toyota GT-One to push it along.

Says the man who used this trick to win "Like the Wind"!

Im new to the forums if you have noticed...but anyways you are very right about the performance of the Vitz...but whats worse is that even fully tuned it feels like you havent done anything to it. plus in order to pass anybody on the professional race you have to drive perfectly and wait for them to mess up or pit...but seriously now if you know the perfect tuning tell me...i got my escudo up to 324.5 MPH (519.2 KPH)...too bad i dont like the escudo im not sure that they meant for us to be able to buy a Stage 4 twintubo kit. but back to the Vitz.

Apart from a supreme lack of horsepower there's no real faults with the Vitz - I think just generally lowering and stiffening it will improve it greatly. It's a lot harder to stuff the suspension settings up in GT3.

I personally prefer to do a full NA tune rather than turbo, just a lot more responsive.

thanks man i will try it...turbo on the vitz is generally the same, the suspension settings i am going to make about 9.8 f and 7.6 r with a higher shock rebound and bound set at 8. i always stiffen the stabilizers fully. as for gear ratios i think they can be just fine as they come.

I think you're generally better setting the rear shocks stiffer than fronts for front drivers - weight transfer to the rear is the enemy of traction in front drive.

What happens is if the rear is set softer, the weight transfers to the rear, making the nose go up. This creates wheel spin and understeer under acceleration.

In RD and 4WD cars it's better to go soft at the back as it aids acceleration.

I had my Vitz hooked up nice I thought until I hit the SS11 race and got my a$$ handed to me! After checking around on various GT3 sites I found a hook up that worked great for me. I wish I could remember the site name to give the guy credit, but he is probably a member here and will recognize his handy work. Well here it is I hope it helps you out.
Springs 4.2 3.6
Height 104 104
Bound 6 6
Rebound 9 9
Camber 3.0 1.5
Toe 0.5 0.0
Stabs 3 3
Brakes 12 17
LSD Init. 10
Accel. 40
Decel. 20
For the gears be sure to max out the auto setting. Then drop the Final ratio down to 2.500. Then set auto setting to minimum (15).
Hope this helps you out, worked great for me.
