Jordan,
You have a very particular news-writing style, which I like and appreciate a lot since it's dynamic. You don't just write way, you reference (i.e. provide links) previous news stories, blog posts, official announcements from PD, etcetera, minimizing dullness and predictability.
Problem is, that I'm so used to links being opened in new windows all across the forums that I forget that this doesn't happen in the news stories and more often than not, end up frustrated because while opening up certain referenced stories/links these open in the same news stories window that I've not yet finished reading.
I know this is 100% possible from a technical (web design) standpoint, but there may be a reason for this. Seeing that the forums already follow this pattern, would you deem this change appropiate? Come on, you can't say no to THIS face.
