List of Gran Turismo 7 Cars with no ABS.

As Gt7 has an universal ABS setting, I thought making a list of the cars with no ABS systems on their real life counterparts out of the current 425 cars available would be interesting for people that wanna make the game a little more realistic like me.

First off, it's a shame the game doesn't treat it like Assetto Corsa, where your cars will have ABS or not, based on the real car. However I've found that ABS on WEAK, while not necessarily faster, will provide more realistic braking on the game (was similar for GT Sport).

After extensive research, here are the cars and classes that lack ABS IRL:
  • GT3/GR3 cars have ABS systems, that work a little different, but I would set them on WEAK.
  • Rally Cars DON'T have ABS.
  • Drifting Cars DON'T have ABS.
  • GT500/SuperGT Cars DON'T have ABS. (Forbidden)
  • LMP1 Cars DON'T have ABS. (Forbidden)
  • Group C Cars DON'T have ABS.

Cars like the Lancia Delta Integrale HF had ABS as an optional feature, I've left those cars out of the list, as this was supposed to help us track the ones that lack it. If anything's wrong, feel free to correct me.

I believe the Porsche 911 RSR doesn’t have ABS IRL because it's a GTE car, possibly the DBR9 GT1 aswell.

True for both. I forgot some of the cars on the list, but I had hoped I covered them with those sentences up there. Basically, most Race Cars don't have it right, apart from the GT3 cars
 
Nice list. Note that the Eunos Roadster (1st generation Miata) did in fact have ABS available as a factory option in all regions. So did the MA70 Supra (3.0 Turbo here).
 
The 97 and 98 Honda Civic Type R came with ABS, although race base models didn't have it and I think it might have been an option to remove it, but generally speaking the cars have it
 
Do you think is it realistic how the abs work in gt7?

So basically never use default but low or off based on if the car has abs or not?

It depends on the car. A road car will probably have an ABS closer to Default, while a race car would in real life have adjustable settings but most of them would probably be close to Low to allow for trail-braking.
 
Someone should update the first post. It is really helpfull but quite incomplete especially after all the updates.

I really hope the change completely the abs system in the next GT. It is totally wrong 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yes, but I think the game will have much more updates still. Maybe when it gets to 500 I'll look into it again

Stupid question, but I'm not near my PS4 to check: Can we adjust the ABS settings for each car?
