Gran Turismo 5, as great as it is, may not feel like the most complete GT game to date, even with DLCs coming, but there are definitely some bigger features GT6 must implement in order to out do GT5. I'd like to start a list of all the areas GT6 must focus on. Whether it be a specific car that should be in GT6, a racing series, or new features, list them here.

Here's the first addition-

1. A much more in-depth course maker. One where we could re-create courses in the game nearly from scratch.

Focus on quality and content of the game. I just hope that Polyphony Digital will not pay much attention to the online portion - it's a waste and hinders the quality of the game.

Here's the list of my hopes for GT6:-

- Get rid of online multiplayer. Online shouldn't be in GT series at all.
- Full of premium cars. No standards.
- More tracks.
- More championships for NASCAR, rally and karts.
- More championship series, with more races in them. Make GT Life much, much bigger like GT4.
- More events in Special Events.
- Improve the graphics (if possible).
- Make sure that framerate is stable at 60fps.
- Make sure that the shadows are perfect.
- Make sure that screen tearing is not presence.

How about we not worry about GT6 until GT5 is at least reasonably finished fixing up?

A working clutch would be nice! not only on/off

Less attention for online so that they focus on quality and content of the game. I don't mind if online is not planned for GT6 because it's not necessary.

This is stupid. In 2010 the lack of the usual features found in most racing games that enhances competitivity and the overall mp experience is a poor decision. Hopefully PD will listen to the majority feedback and bring this game up to other racing games level.

If I were KY I would stop focusing so much on useless features included just for the sake of it like nascar/rally/karts/3d and start paying attention to what gamers really want: cars (premium), tracks, authentic engine sounds, improved collision/damage models and competitive multiplayer.

Should bring back every track from Gran Turismo's past my personal favorite is SSR11 from GT1. My brothers is Red Rock Vally Speedway from GT2.

They said that an in-depth course maker would be too complicated for us, but why not let us prove ourselves? I think it would be nearly impossible to make an in-game course creator capable of making courses as good as ones built into the game. But they should definitely release the software for PC.

I'd like them to add realistic guns...... And Dragon flight physics..... and a Chris Hansen mini game....... and the removal of any car that has a red paint option...

Here is my list...good list everyone so far and many good points. Someone said to leave out online completely...that's just crazy talk! They have to keep online in and make it the core of GT in my opinion.

Here is my list:

-Turn off collisions by default in online.
-More events needed in the career mode. In fact, make the career never-ending with a continuous stream of seasons, one after the other (like in Forza 3)
-At least 400 cars need to be premium this time around, each with cockpit views, to compete with FM4.
-More options in arcade mode and better AI, including: time of day/weather changes on ALL tracks.
-And, of course, fix those jaggy shadows! :D

by the time gt6 is out forza 20 will be out or microsoft will have went out the game 👍

There's no reason why all these improvements (except the "get rid of the online mode" one which cannot be taken seriously) shouldn't be included in GT5 with patches, updates and (after all promised features have been properly implemented, most standard cars have been cleaned up and unexplainably missing content [re]added) DLC.

-More tracks, more cars
-All premium cars and tracks
-a more indepth course editor
-more tuning options and performance parts
-more visual customization (meaning more aero kits and each car should have realistic specific aero kits)
-a full generic color pallete for car painting in addition to the paint chip method
-race mods for all stock cars
-more events
-no leveling system
-money being awarded in arcade and online modes a long with A-spec
-make B-spec more "fun" and not tedious
-add a difficult levels to be chosen for GT life mode (beginner, professional and extreme)
-more special challenges
-improve the used dealership
-make prize cars "special", maybe award only chromeline or stealth version of cars that exist in the game and make them so they can't be obtained by simply buying them. Also, award prize cars that can actually be used in subsequent events and not just dust eaters for the garage.

they could keep adding to GT5, but they would struggle to justify it given the $$$.

Fresh Game = another big chunk of dollers from consumers.

Fix what needs to be 'Fixed', deliver what was promised, then move onto perfecting GT6.

To keep competitive GT needs to keep improving, more cars and tracks won't cut it. but would be a good start.

GT5 is a good platform to work from though.

I'd be happy if they lost all the variations of the various cars.

I've got 4 VW Lupo's because a race modified one is classed as a completely different car.
if i want a race modified Lupo i should just be able to 'Race Modify' it.

The people who say the clutch pedal is on/off are. . . incorrect.

Slowly release the clutch and you will see that the clutch slowly begins to grab. It is pressure sensitive, not an on/off switch.

The search button isn't there to look pretty. Please use it in future.
