Can someone tell me if this car is any good. At the moment I am trying to collect only the best cars in the game, more specifically from the UCD as opposed to any new cars from the dealership.

I have all the cars I want from the new dealership, so at the moment I am only trying to be prudent with my credits and buy the best cars from the UCD, for example cars like the Toyota GT1 that I got yesterday.

Is the Lister Storm worth putting in my collection??

The Lister Storm is quite sick, it is pretty heavy though. It's V12 roars like a cougar... I mean like an elephant. It normally comes in last place (at least in GT4) when racing. It is still quite sick and interesting to drive! 💡
 
I was very disappointed by it in GT3, because even fully tuned I found it to be very gutless for a V12. I never touched it again in GT4 or GT5, but I doubt it has changed.
 
Thanks people. Might let it go. Looks pretty cool, but is a tad on the heavy side.
Can't make up my mind though...
 
I love my Lister Storm. I find it quite fast and once you iron out a little understeer it drives like a dream. You won't be disappointed! Plus, it looks really beautiful! A great car, one of my favourites!

Well I can tell it's one of your favourites...

Might get it, after all it is pretty rare on the UCD. Actually the first time I've saw it on the UCD. May well get it later.

I'd like a Storm when it turns up, how much is it?
 
Not a bad car at all. It is reasonably fast and good to drive. I don't know how it is tuned, but on the top gear test track it is nearly 2 seconds slower then a M3 GTR Race car. Both stock. And the BMW has less power and a much smaller engine. And it is only 0.4 of a second faster then my tuned caterham. So it is not a rocket, but not bad at all.

Yeah, it's been one of my favourites since GT2... might be a little biased in the answer department!:sly: Too bad you plan on leaving it, but if you've got an extra 2 mil lying around at some point in the future it'd be a good purchase.

Just wish they still had the road version...

The Storm is a good car :) IMO is one of the best looking standard racing cars of the whole game... and also a pretty good racer ;) In fact I consider this GT5 incarnation as the best one of the series, since it can finnaly take the 1st place against cars he would normally lose (all those powerful LMP racers)... at least when you race it in Trial Mountain in the AllStars Championship... :D
 
It should have about 200 more Horsepower fully tuned then what it does along with weighing 200 kg less.

Then it would be a good car and could match up to the Cien or something close.

It has 768 hp and 14XX kg fully tuned so its decent but meh, R34 at 789 and 1250~ is a nice amount faster

i just like the zost pipes ;)
