Little Big Planet: Own Forum?

I'm not really sure what it takes to get your own forum for a game, for we have one for FC and F1, but i'm seeing an explosion of LBP discussion
(yes cod4 was a big one too, but it just seems like LBP's are so much wide range of discussion, leading to many threads, which will remain active)
But i believe they deserve their own forum. I'm under no circumstances trying to turn this community into a gaming disucssion, for we all come upon commen ground with GT, but with the lacking activity (or not as it should be) Till GT5 releases, It may just make things easier around here...

Yes, but when the game gets a little older the forum can become a sub forum like the Ferrari game is.

I remember Jordon said he wanted PS3 subforums reserved for other racing games only. GTA is the only exception to this rule although that was back in the days of the playstation 2.

I remember a good number of us put a case forward for a call of duty 4 sub forum (or just a call of duty). The thread in which we used was bloated out of all proportions. It is a huge thread over 220 pages in length now. It was growing rapidly in posts, it still is popular now, in fact a year after its release it is still on the front page of GTP's PS3 forum, the thread itself is nearly half the size of the PS£ general discussion thread and attributes to almost 10% total post in the entire PS3 forum. Despite the games incredible popularity among members of this board I now fully agree with Jordan's decision not to make a sub forum for the game despite the fact that the COD4 thread is bigger than both the entire F1:CE sub-forum or the Ferrari challenge sub-forum.

I feel this is also the case with LBP as great of game as it is.

I think GTA and Forza (the devil) having their own forums is pushing it. This is Gran Turismo Planet. Not Gran Theft Little Big Planet.

I don't like seeing Grand Theft Auto's forum on the front. If it must be there, I'd like it to be a subforum of Playstation 3, like Ferrari Challenge and Formula One Championship Edition.

What about putting it as a subforum in the "Gaming in General" forum? I thought it would just be temporary after GTA4 came out (it was renamed, after all)

It's definitely a popular game, but I don't sense a strong need for a dedicated forum at the moment. As I said in the other thread, if you really want to create a new topic about the game, don't hesitate. If I see a lot of threads on one particular topic, I will be much more likely to create a forum for it.
