So i did 8 laps at Sarthe using a stock Peugeot 908. All competitors were using LMPs and Group C cars. Damage was realistic, tire wear on.
Race started at 15.00pm. I overtook one by one except the 1st car - the Minolta Toyota. That was a great battle. Finally I got past him and built up a lead of 7 seconds. Then disaster: night fell and I didn't see the grass, I spun my 908and the Toyota hit me and broke my cars front suspension.
I continued driving in 3rd place but it was so hard to keep the car on the track that I went of the track into gravel. Ended up in 9th and i had to pit for repair. When I came out of the pits i was on RM tires instead of RH. I started battling from 13th place. Finally the other racers also pitted.
I finished 2nd, just 3 seconds behind an Audi R8 but what a great race!
