Yeah I know there is a section for Live For Speed up there đź‘Ť but chances are nobody ever looks at that here. Anyway, LFS Stage 1 has been released. Do not be put off by a lack of cars, (7), ranging from superlight Lotus 7 replicas to a 4WD Turbo Japanese Celica GT4 replica; each with sublimely realistic handling and a genuine satisfaction factor. All are challenging to drive fast and require a good set up to beat the best.
On the track front there are 3 Circuit environments, a coastal environment called Fern Bay, an urban environment called South City, and Blackwood which, despite the name does not have than many trees there but is excellent nonetheless. Each environment has multiple track configurations and is beautifully modelled.
PLUS, there is a drag strip, an 8 lane strip for online, and an AutoX area with editable stages.
The real genius of this game is the online play, the netcode is superb and the close racing of real-world cars is simply fantastic, brilliant fun.
