Live Racing Chat & Java Update

A few days ago, I received a Java update and have since been unable to access most of these applications, including the Live Racing Chat here at GTP. I am prompted with a box that says "This application requires an older version..." and my options are to cancel or try anyway. If I do try, it attempts to go through the login sequence, but eventually tells me I do not have a correct login or password.

Is this something I can fix on my end?

You can test your Java installation here. I'm running the latest version (1.6.0_11) on Windows XP and I have no trouble logging in. Try completely uninstalling Java from your system, clear your web browser's cookies, and download a fresh copy.
