Do you guys think that "Livery Editor" is a possibility in GT5? I'm not that crazy for it but it would be a cool addition. The main reason why I ask this is because of how GT5's online has changed, meaning that there isn't anymore "wow" moments for me in terms of peoples cars, I either have it or seen the car plenty of times. I think it would be cool to see someone pull up with crazy looking liveries and would definitely spice up online interactions. What do you guys think?

My thread is different, not only do I ask about the possibility but if it would spice up online interaction, but yeah now I know lol. :)

No. PD drag their feet far too long, taking way too long to accomplish way too little. Things like mid-enduro saves, that should have been there when the game released late last year, have been in the works for GT5 for a long time and yet still aren't here yet. A livery editor would take PD far longer to implement than something like mid-race saves.

At this point, I really don't see custom liveries at any point in GT5's life.

The GTFDL will always be there to argue against a livery editor, but the truth is that there's a lot of players that either want one in GT or at least wouldn't mind having it. Even many of the folks that argue against it would happily use it if it suddenly became available for GT5.
 
Ye I would love livery editor but knowing the world.. Your going to see crazy livery
(oreo car, pink panther car etc.) that will ruin the racing spirit
