The base models seem very, very popular. It seems that when given the option, people buy the base model over the regular car at least 4 out of 5 times. We love to have that customization touch they provide! However, the base models are very bland. 1 color with a number and the manufacturer decal. The cars look very empty and, as you know, that's not how real race cars are. It would be nice if PD would give us some 2 or 3 tone options for the paint job and, in a perfect world, the ability to add some sponsors!
