Load Times

Maybe there is alot of complaints about this and that with gt6 but what can say makes the experience much more enjoyable for by a far is the incredibely much improved load times compared to gt5 which used to drive me crazy. Id like to hear what others think....
 
Yea I have the digital version but I do not have a ssd. But I was really impresssed with the fact that I could get in and out of a race or anything without have to go do something while I wait on the game to load. Whatever they did even if it was dropping some features. I could care less and time is money
 
Generally they're very fast, & this is such a great thing, PD have done very well in optimizing them. However, the Stockyard is really slow to load & save. It would be much better if they just gave us 2 garages instead, one for online & one for offline.
 
I mentioned on another thread that just the difference in load times would have almost been enough in itself to justify buying Gt6. Adding that to the simplicity of the entire layout helps even more. This may be a small thing to some, but to me, it's a huge improvement. In Gt5, while waiting on a race to load, I'd always have to wonder if my satellite internet was messing up or if my playstation froze up, but most of the time it was just the slowness of the game.

The improved load time is real nice when we've got family and friends over taking turns doing 2P battles and everyone wants a turn. Everything works so slick and then changing cars and settings is so much easier too. Giant step in the right direction.

Yeah this is great! GT5 had horrible loading when it first came out and then they made it a little better in a patch(I think 2.02??) but all it really did was make the track load first and you had to wait for the cars to load after.
 
im not using digital version but still the loading times are much faster than GT5 so im ok with it not only loading times
the whole menu & options are all there you can do u r work much faster
 
I would say load times are only slightly faster than in gt5, there are MORE screens and some eye candy tossed in to break it up. It really stinks that they can't fit the specs onto one page. I'd personally rather just click once and wait.

I tried two different SSD hard drives (different sizes and makes) in my PS3. Load times were great, but they cause black screens online at the end of every other online race. They hang the game and require a full system restart, so I went back to a regular drive and have never had the problem.
