Is there anyone to make the startup driving view the cockpit view?

Every time I start the game I have to press select as soon as the race starts which slows takeoff albeit slightly, it's more annoying than anything else.

Is there anyway to make cockpit the view the game automatically starts in?

It should remain in the view you left it in.

The first time you enter the track (after loading up the game) it's always bumper and now way to permanently change it. After you change it once it should stay on interior though.

This would be the only game that gives you a choice but doesn't save your favourite camera every other game with a choice does whether it be fifa, forza, nba 2k, madden etc etc It's minor but it's just incredibly annoying.

Like daan said, the view is left off where you left it in the most recent race. Maybe you pressed some buttons beforehand or something? Hasn't happened to me, but the game always remembers my last cam.

Funny mine always restarts in bumper cam.. I never use bumper cam!

Mine also always starts in bumper can and I have to switch the view when I start playing again.
