GODS__NEMESIS
Hiya fellow petrol heads !

I'm having big problems with racing online this has only happend over the last few days poss a week max

Right problems are

1 keeps freezing up and having to do a full restart sometimes even having to unplug ps3 from the wall !!

2. Some people cant see all other racers on track can hear but not see

I have been on the phone to Sony and they recommend I delete the game data and re install the data (which I'm doing now ) but it's 11gig and that's without the tracks and cars so going to be a while I bet.

Has anyone else had issues reasontly ?

Also has anyone had conflicts with other players on different Internet suppliers I'm in the uk

This is now the last straw for me I have all ready lost all my save data once before and if it goes again the game is getting smashed !!

Any input greatly received

I just wonder if you experienced any problems in other games online?
Can be a providerproblem or your router has issues. Perhaps easy questions but might as well ask them so we have that out of the way.

Hardwire to your modem, clear your system cache, disable custom music, avoid mics.

Done all the above
Modem is hard wired music is disabled but we use the mic

Doesn't happen on any other games mw3 grid battlefield just gt5

Shame really as there about 12 of us who race on a regular basis :-(

You're already doing all you can then. Servers have been unstable since Photo Stream was released, likely why we haven't got it yet.

Well would you believe it after all that of downloading and installing and putting up with the crap tv my mrs made me watch the first damn lobby i enter bam white bar loaded but black screen of death I give up now !!

When I was having problems sony had me delete the game data, restore file system in safe mode and then reinstall the game. You could try restoring the PS3 file system and see if it helps. Always back up game save data before doing anything.

Note: You want to Restore File System (Option 3). Do NOT Restore PS3 System. There is a big difference so read the link below.

After deleting the game data, go into Safe Mode and select option 3 (Restore File System). This will not delete any saved game data but will search the system for corrupted files to repair. The information below will assist you in accessing Safe Mode.

Using Safe Mode

After the restore, on the XMB™ go to Settings > Network Settings > Media Server Connection > Disable. Then load the disc and complete the software update.

If that doesn't help some have reported scratched game discs causing these types of problems. Inspect your disc and clean or replace if necessary.

Setting your PS3 up with a static IP address and/or putting it in a DMZ may also help. http://forums.station.sony.com/dcuops3/posts/list.m?topic_id=10560

If you don't feel comfortable doing any of the above then don't do it.

I've had the game freeze after I leave a room...
