Lobby Practice driving doesn't add to car's "Distance Driven"

Is this a bug on my end, or does the driving done in practice phase in lobbies not count towards distance driven on the car?

It does register as distance driven in game, and can be used to claim daily reward, but after the session, the distance driven on the car hasn't change.

As a stats nut, this really bugs me! . Anyone else notice this?
