Currently a group of us have been using Weight/HP limits for some weekly races.... So Far the Racing is pretty competive with the use of different cars, .... I wander If using PP's as a limit might make the cars even more closer in car performance, and not worry about weight and HP...
any thoughts??
Thanks.

I think PP will give you fairer races. PP takes tyres into account, which in some cases is very important IMO. I don't know if PP includes aerodynamics though.

HP/Weight creates fairer racing imo.

By limiting tyres, weight and HP you set a more even playing field.

Because PP takes tuning into account (and is heavily affected by suspension and DF settings) it penalises people who tune cars well - I find that less fair.

PP can create great informal lobbies but can sometimes be less balanced.

Now that we can use the engine-based HP limiter to get cars into 'the bracket' more easily I think PP is history for organised racing.

ok, thanks guys.... may stick with HP/Weight, for now then.....
I do like the Weight and HP limiters.... Makes a Car more usable from Race to Race depending on Restrictions.
I've always been hesitant to do the engine tuning stages because once you do them they are permanant...... and if a car is over for next weeks Power limit....nothing you can do.... same thing with the weight. Once you reduce weight, you were stuck with it... Now, all is well.

However, I will say, that it takes away some of the thinking and planning of building a car for the next weeks race... which was part of the fun.
But overall, I think they are good additions.

It will be a little weird to see Lambos participating in Low HP races..... will really open up a lot of opportunies for preparing cars.

Yup, dead right!

Imo there are two unsung gems in the 1.06 update, one is the shadow improvement and the other is the HP limiter on the engines.
