Why was the video sped up in places I wonder.

Yep, that was stupid. Anyways, this is the only video i found, and since there are no "official" pictures yet, that's it.

The São Paulo International Auto Show starts next week, so i'll have some pictures and info about it soon.

It looks interesting but I don't know if I'm all that keen on it.

Looks like a mix of a Lotus, Ferrari, and an S2000.

In case you didn't know, that is a good thing.

The road version uses the 1.8 Turbocharged Audi A3 engine (185HP) . So add Audi to that mix. :)

The H1-R prototype seems to be using the S3 engine :scared:

Johnny, I edited your post to make use of our YouTube embedded player. :)

Is it just me, or does it looked like a somewhat deformed Aston Martin? Similar headlights, only bigger, and the same front, only smaller...

The small cosmetic changes (front light, rear spoiler) also were made on the original targa model.

EDITED:
2 more pics of the Coupe

This pic show the new concept H1 Racing (in yellow color. It's different from the one on the video i posted) and the Targa models (in red and black colors)

One of the cars I own is a Honda CRX VTI (Del Sol). This car is very similar in many ways. My car has been heavily modified to over 180Whp and 130ft/lb and weights around 950Kg with 10l of Shell V-Power, octane boosted to 115RON, it's limited at 9000RPM. On average it will do 0-60Mph in 6s and 1/4 mile in 14s. It has a targa top, it's got phenomenal handling and drivability on road and track. I could go on about all the work that I've had done to it but it would take a few pages.

Just one problem it's FF and it's old, 1995 old. If this Lobini car has similar performance to my Honda and it's MR I'd be interested in buying one. Anyone got any links to the specifications please?

EDIT: I decided to do a bit of research and this car is not bad, it has a lot of potential and it's cheap, around £15-20K. The engine is not that special as it's 1.8l and only produces 180Bhp, with a Turbo. It's also quite heavy for such a small car, around 1025Kg, I would have expected less, with the advancements in composites. The 17" alloy wheels are also too big and 16" alloy wheels would increase acceleration. But it's MR and it reaches 60Mph in less than 6s, very good for a stock car. One very interesting point is that the manufacturers are prepared to customize the car to the customer's needs. So removing the air conditioning and opting for 16" alloy wheels would get the weight under a tonne. Further light modifications could get this car under 5.5s to 60Mph and that's very quick for the price tag, not a bad looking car either, I'm liking the doors.👍
