Local Multiplayer (Split Screen)

Newbie here. Never owned a GT game.

I want to buy this game, but would like to know if this game will actually take into consideration people with lots of family and friends who all want to play together.

I don't want to pass the controller around and take turns playing, that's just sad. Any news on this?

All past GT games have had two-player split-screen, so I guess it will be the same deal here.

I heard they had terrible split screen, whereby there were no ai racers. Not sure if that was every GT. But that sounds awful.

Was it two player split screen or up to 4 player?

That would be correct.

Only up to two.

I suspect that GT7 will be no different than the others on both counts.

Been waiting for them to announce the different modes, but nothing yet
