Login bonus after endurance races

Today i found an interisting thing, i started on Wednesday Suzuka 1000km with 200%bonus, i did 1hour each day until today. When i finished the endurance save i was expecting to return to 110% bonus but no i got 200%bonus, as you might expect when i returned to the main menu it said that i got 170% bonus.
 
Same thing happened to me. I started on Saturday, finished Wednesday. I also only got 7 paint chips and museum cards. A bit of a rip off considering I was still logging in everyday to play.
 
Damn! I've been working on the 24 hrs at Le Mans for a few days now, and I was wondering this exact thing. I was kinda thinking it would be this way, but I was really hoping to keep getting the login bonus. Oh well. Thanks for posting.
 
I've only just started playing gt5 again after months away, how do the bonuses work? Yesterday I had 170% today I've only got 130%, I don't get it.

You need to log into GT5 daily to get your bonus & it ceilings at 200% :)

The enduro race thing happens as you don't go to mygtlife when starting up, it bypasses it. Mine went from 200% to 130% after 9hr Tsukuba race, you do still get the bonus for the race of whatever it was on when you started; I got 200% bonus for race but reverted to 130% when finished.

Also note that you MUST be signed in to PSN to get it, don't forget that :D
 
This happened to me too. Seems if you don't get logged into PSN *and* go to the gtlife menu (impossible if you're in an enduro you're playing over many days) then you don't get any CREDIT for having logged in, and 'techincally' (due to the mechanics of it all) you never did.

I lost some bonus % (so what), some paint and horns (so what) and a birthday car doing that. Sucks. I'll get over it.
 
Tonight I am getting no bonuses, while I have been raking in 200% for a couple weeks. I logged out and back in and rebooted the PS3, but no help. Even if I had been not logged in, I should at least have the 110% paydays now.
 
So basically, to get the 200%, you need to finish your enduro without saving...

That sucks. I started the 4hr race, got bored, saved after 30 minutes, then logged back in (like 3 days after) and it goes directly to a "pause menu" as soon as your launch the game from the XMB menu.

They need to fix the login bonus, you should be considered logged in as soon as you are online, launching the game.

PS. I think you should get 1 million credit per hour of endurance, 4 hrs : 4 million, 24 hours, 20 millions (can't go over 20 millions...)

Are you logged in to PSN as well? You must, in addition to logging in to GT5, also be logged in to PSN to get the bonus.
 
I am all logged in, but still no more bonus tonight
I went to the PS store, rebooted, , still no bonus.
 
Dunno dude, contact PD perhaps?

As long as you a) log in to PSN b) go to your main GT5 screen (where A & B spec are) and c) do both daily and at the same time then it should not be a problem.

That's not quite right, you get the 200% for the endurance even if you've saved it multiple times, and finished it offline. You lose the 200% when you go to do any other event as it doesn't register you are logging in for all the days you were doing the endurance.

E.g. I started the 24h Le Mans with 200%, took 14 days to complete it and for the last 10 days of this didn't even connect to the internet. when I finished I got 200% applied to my winnings (still not connected). When I then connected, my bonus was then 110%.

But I think that when you finish an endurance race in several (3+) days. Let's say you started it with 200%, your reward will be 200%.
You will lose some bonus only if you go back to the gt life home screen.

If you directly start another race, I think you still have the 200% bonus for that period.
 
As has already been stated, whatever bonus state you start the endurance race with is retained regardless of how long it takes you to complete it.

Once you complete the race and return to the home screen, that's when the bonus resets.

Having said that, I've made an interesting observation - I don't believe you need to log in everyday to maintain a 200% bonus, logging in every other day is sufficient. This means you can technically complete an endurance race over the course of 3 days and still maintain 200% once you return to the home screen - I noticed this when I completed the 4H Nurb over 3 days.
 
Again, the BoB race overnight while I slept got no bonus. I did however get 20 museum cards this morning. Donno what the deal is, I've been logged in since just after the 2.0 release, with occassional blips in internet service but no 24 hour periods disconnected form PSN or GT5. My PS friends list is active, I've been to the PSN store online, in GT5 I've gone to the lobby and created a room where somone did come to play for a bit.

I am all connected, just no bonuses.

Before we start endurance race/championship races (say FGT), we make a save (say Save A). Then we start the race (e.g. 170% bonus), make another save (Save B) for same PSN.

Everyday, we put Save A into PS3 and login to keep getting bonus for the PSN. Put Save B to PS3 for the race, finally, it is expected that 170% for the race. After getting that cr and exp, quit PS3 and login again (Save B + finished the race), what would the bonus be? I guess it is 200%.

In theory that would work, but I believe the save game keeps track of the bonus rather than PSN. This is evidenced if you use a second user to duplicate tickets, this user logs in every day but because the save is getting re-loaded from the same point, the bonus still reduces inline with the point in time it was last saved after the GT Life screen
 
It is working again tonight - still at 200%.n No idea what the deal was overnight.
