Ok so Im planning on buying the Z-5300e system to use in my room. Its a small area so I think its enough power to fullfill my needs. Has anyone owned this system? Is it good? My cousin owns the 70watt RMS 140watts Peak power system and I gotta say it pounds pretty hard. So now this one is 280watts RMS with 560watts peak power. Seems alot more powerful. I can get it for really cheap thats why im asking if its good or not.

I have logitech products and I love them. Will this be the same? Let me know if you had any expriences with this specific speaker system let me know...

As far as i know, logitech are the best for peripherals. Don't know much about their sound systems but logitech are a preety solid brand. Been using their products for 5 years and yet to experience any problems.

I have the Z5500's (the 505Watt version) and I can confirm that they definitely hit very hard. So hard in fact that everything that is on a shelf on the 2 walls surrounding my room is taped down so it doesn't get shaken off. Emad (a member around here) has them (Z5300e) and really likes them. Logitech speakers are very good. 👍

I also have the Z-5500's and can vouch for their incredible sound. 👍 👍 Every Logitech speaker system I have heard has impressed me in some way or another - they offer great value for the money.

I know, but it's only logical that they would upgrade their subwoofers along with everything else.
Like the upgrade of the Z680's to the Z5500's. Bigger satellite speakers and an upgrade to a bigger, better, more powerful subwoofer (8 inches to 10 inches)

I was thinking of getting a stereo splitter and buying another set of these speakers. Muwahaha. :D

I have the exact system. Get it. Unless you are in a bigger sized basement, the 5300e are PERFECT. I love them. Bass can be a bit loud, but not for me since I point it away from me (my bed is on the other side)

Make sure you have a good (at least 24 bit) soundcard to compliment the system and you'll be in good shape.

www.newegg.com search for it and read the reviews...the bass problems people are having are most likely because the sub is facing them (at their feet or them directly) or weaker soundcard.

No problem at all, get it.

hmmm

Thanks for your input. Now im definitly going to buy the system:)

1 thing tho. Ive heard complaints that the wires are to SHORT?
Is it true? Let me know...

Yes they could be longer for some instances and the wires are attached into the speakers themselves so you may have to get attachments for bigger setups...12 feet I think the rear speaker wires are and 6 for the fronts.

I have a small room so that's why I love my system so much, but it just depends on your setup for your room.

yeah first Ill be using it in my room just for watching movies and stuff. Im planning on buying a sound card later as I have a 2.1 system that does the job. Im just going to use it as a HOME THEATRE system for now. Thanks for replying to all my questions:)

UPDATE!
I have bought the system for a good price today:) :dopey:
and I love it! The power is AMAZING. The quality is amazing as well. I got it for $180CND brand new. You think that was a good deal? they retail for $299.99CND at Futureshop...

Well im very happy with the system. One question to the owners of this system tho. When I hooked it up to my PS2 with the wires its not as loud as I thought it would be. My cousins 70watt RMS Logitech system sounds louder... If I buy the Sound card will it be louder? Also maybe its because I have my system in a Bigger spot then he does. Well overall im very happy and I think that Logitech is the best in PC Prehiperals! I love there Steering wheels , remote controls , sound systems! its the best! :) 👍

I have a set of those. They sound great with a good sound card.

I'm waiting for an updated, higher fidelity version though. Seems like its been a while since the last Logitech wave of speakers.
