So I am considering purchasing a new DFGT wheel and a Universal stand from Amazon. The wheel costs £119.99 and the stand costs £49.99 which is a large amount of money for me seeing as I'm only 18.
I just wanted to get your guy's respectable opinions on this wheel before I go in and purchase it. This will be my first wheel for Gran Turismo so I wan't one that's of a reasonable quality but not too expensive like other Logitech models.
So, is it worth the price?
How is the FFB feature?
How well do the pedals work?
Are there any issues that I should be wary of before buying?

Thank you very much in advance for any feedback 👍

Edit: Is this wheel compatible with the Playstation 4?

Hi Ryan

It's a shame you didn't order the wheel two weeks ago from Amazon as they were £76 including postage. A friend got one for that price when I warned him that they were sure to raise it when Christmas and the release of GT6 got near - they did the same when GT5 was released.

There are quite a lot of threads about the DFGT on this site which will explain how to improve the feel of the pedals etc (although I didn't feel the need to make any mods to mine). In summary it is an excellent wheel with OK pedals which will add greatly to your experience and enjoyment so it makes an excellent first wheel. Some of the fastest players on this site use one so if you don't plan on using an H pattern shifter which it doesn't have, it could be all the wheel you will need.

I think it is worth the money bearing in mind that the G27 is a lot more money in the UK, however it would sting to think Amazon have increased the price that much in a couple of weeks.

Personally I would get a wheelstand pro which I think is £64 for the DFGT. I had a DFGT with one and was totally satisfied. Rock solid, non-slip, quick delivery, perfect quality - I've had two and can't fault them (obviously a good rig would be better, but they cost more and take up a lot of room).

I don't know if the current wheels on the market are compatible with PS4 - I hope so because like many others I would be very unhappy if they aren't.
