Logitech DFGT Reverse Button

Hi guys,

I use a Logitech Driving Force GT, but I just can't figure out how to set it up so that I can use reverse like in a normal car.

Even when I use manual transmission, I still have to use the triangle button on the wheel in order to go in reverse, which is annoying when you need to make a backwards turn. You have to maneuver in an impossible position if you want the reverse button pressed while steering.

I would like to manually shift into reverse, and then use the throttle pedal to accelerate backwards. Is that possible?

yeah having the same problem. on "NFS:Shift" you could go in reverse whit the brake pedal. its better...
 
No it's not possible. However if you don't use the sequential shifter during a race you can set "down-shift" to reverse (and "up-shift" to handbrake like I did) so you'll have a free hand for manoeuvres :)
 
Will holding the shifter in either direction keep reverse/handbrake on, or does it just blip reverse/handbrake?
 
That's ridiculous right? That it's impossible to do that. WTF...that would make the most sense. Hopefully it will be posible after an update, but I doubt it.
I will send PD an email about it, hopefully they understand and do something with it.

Anyone here who can describe my issue in perfect English, otherwise they might not understand what I'm talking about haha

This is how iv been doing it in GT since i got a wheel, its the only way to avoid snapping fingers!!
 
It is absolutely stupid. I hate not having an easier way to backup.
