I've searched and haven't found this problem, but my throttle engages during twisty bits when my foot is not on the pedal. Its most noticable at the Suzuka esses when I lift off the gas the power does not let down nearly what it should. I can semi-recreate the problem and it gets worse the more the wheel is turned. It does not happen when the wheel is straight. It happens with both sets of pedals, one from the dfp and the dfgt and with both wheels too. I took apart one set and tried cleaning them but the problem remains. Does anybody know of a solution to this or am I screwed?

edit: after further testing for a solution none has been found, although the problem only occurs on the ferrari f1 cars and red bull x1s. havent tested it wtih the fgt but on road cars and race cars up through the pugeot 908 hdi fap it does not happen. so its not the worst thing in the world, but i am wondering if anybody else is having this happen as it does not appear to be a hardware problem as its happening with every piece of hardware i have. I also have not noticed it happening in f1 2010.

search for DFGT Pedal Mod
it's probably in my signature

stretch the springs a little and check that the pots are mounted securely.

i really don't think its my pedals as it doesnt happen with cars slower than f1 cars and it goes away when the steering wheel gets straightened out. It is very much induceable by lifting completely off the gas with the foot, keeping some steering lock, and the more or less steering you do the more or less throttle respectively the game thinks you're adding.
its not game breaking at all, but its really ruining my driving f1 cars around for fun time.
also that mod in your sig is for the break pedal and its the gas thats acting up. the gas does not have the extra spring like the one that gets modded. but i still might do that as it seems like a good idea.

You know, I've noticed precisely the same thing... using a D-pad controlling an F1 car... personally I've always found it useful to accelerate through turns, but I've always found it odd that it's there.

escudo i love you. i also love the escudo, but you too.
yeah i can recreate the problem with a controler. its not as pronounced as i think i can get more lock on the wheel which makes it worse. but when lifting off and turning in a ferrari f1 car (and i assume x1 and maybe fgt) there is definately unwanted power being fed. you can see the gas being pressed regardless of your foot/finger being not on the gas.

does anybody know if this has been brought up as i now realize this is the wrong place for this thread? should i make a new thread in the gt5 forum? am i asking too many questions?

and again, the escudo and ilovethescudo are fantastic.

From Kaz's Tweets thread:

Kaz's response regarding the throttle issue
/バックトルク・リミッターです。エンジンブレーキが効きすぎてスピンしな いよう適度に スロットルを開けます

TCSdisable
This is back-torque limiter, for more efferent of Engine brake and avoid Spinning issue, so the throttle is still open in suitable levels.

It's not hardware problem, it's software.
