Logitech DFP problems on PS3

I've read different threads about problems similar to mine, but nobody seems to have the same problem I have. I'm trying to use my DFP with my PS3, to play GT4. I plug it in, and it doesn't calibrate at all. Most problems I've read on here, other people's wheel at least calibrated itself. But mine doesn't. It just sits there, with the left light sometimes blinking. While sometimes it doesn't blink at all, but still doesn't work. If anyone has STRAIGHT answers, please help!

Make sure your wheel is plugged into the first USB port, and check the power supply for the wheel. Flashing lights usually mean a power issue.

Have you tried it plugged into a PC? Did it calibrate then?

Oh, and welcome to :gtplanet:

I tried it on my PC also, and the same thing happened. My computer recognized it and said it was ready to use, but it still didn't work. So it must be a power problem. Would a new cord to the trick? Or is the problem inside the wheel itself. Or could it be either one?

When you said it didn't work in the PC, did it just not calibrate? Did you try it in the control panel > game controller? I'm at work so can't check, but I thought the wheel would still function, just with no force feedback, if it had no power.

I could be completely off track but I didn't think GT4 was PS3 compatible? I will have to dig out my copy if it is.
Depends on your PS3. Launch PS3s could play PS2 games by emulation, but it was removed from later PS3s.
