OK as we all know, we have force feedback to represent the alterations in track conditions and also car handling characteristics (sp?). But what about Foot Pedals?

My mate came round the other day to have a go on GT4 with my Logitech GT wheel i got a few years back to use with GT3. Its got force feedback as we know.
He was impressed by the responce of the wheel but hated the pedals as there was no force behind the brakes as in real cars.. (I dont drive for real but he does so I wouldnt quite know about this)

He said he couldnt tell how much pressure he was putting on the brakes or throttle and that ruined the experience for him...

So my question is..

Does the DF-Pro wheel have force feedback on the pedals as well as the wheel?

any comments will be much appreciated.

No.

Many of the MOMO/DriveForce/DFPro vets have had issue with the weak "springs" of the Logitech Wheel pedals. I don't know if anyone has specifically expressed concern with a lack of tactile feedback, but one solution many of them have tried is to put a split racquet ball under the brake to stiffen it up a bit.

Good Advice NQ 👍 Although I haven't tried that one yet. Personally I use a "Yellow Dot" SQUASH Ball (Un-spilt). Just push it in the hole behind the Brake Pedal. Occasionally but not too often it'll slip to one side or the other but you'll know immediately as the Brake "Feel" goes away...O.G. :D

adding balls and stuff under the pedals is all well and good, but it wont give you the real force of the braking... its a shame these pedals dont do that... make things better if they do...

Yet, it's still the most advanced wheel set out there. You can still get it and have a great time with it, no doubt. I guess we'll just have to wait till a newer improved wheel comes out.
