Hi guys,

Recently i convinced a friend to buy a dfgt, and i was using it just now and noticed how more powerful it feels (checked our force feedback settings were the same) and it just worried me how my wheel has worn down. I mean its possible that the wheel 'beds in', but i would have noticed this on mine when i bought it, mine is a year and a half old and ive used it a little on gt5 prologue, and then on dirt and f1 2010, so not too much, but quite a bit. My real worry is if it ocntinues to wear it will get soo bad ill have to replace it after 2-3 years.

Anyone have an oppinion? i.e is this just normal?

Cheers

I have a DF Pro I bought the day GT4 came out over 5 years ago that I still use. Its got a LOT of miles on it. It seems to have weakened but only very slightly, generally it works identically to when it was new.

The DFP does still have quite a bit of FFB, but in addition the the larger diameter steering wheel, didn't the DFGT also get an upgraded motor? I'm sure I recall seeing that somewhere.

Like Tommy_861, I've also been using my DFP wheel since the day GT4 came out and it still feels fine to me. although i've never used any other wheel besides a weak madcatz w/o force feedback.

i've had my Logitech driving force pro since gt4 and all that's wrong with mine is that the up shifter on the wheel does'nt work properly. i use the stick to up shift and have been for some time so used to it. other then that it is awsome
