Hello everyone,

I picked up a Logitech Driving Force (not Pro) wheel this weekend, and I begn having some problems with it last night. At first, I was doing a series race with the sole intention of getting an Opel Calibra touring car for my collection. I did the first 5 races without incident, skipped the Test Course race, then the Force Feedback stopped working. I dealt with it through the next race, rebooted the PS2 and power cycled the wheel and all was well. Loaded the game back up and started the next race. About halfway through the first lap the car would randomly downshift on it's own, and it seemed like this was only happening when I turned hard left. Then I lost the ability to upshift. The only was it would shift was if I turned the wheel all the way to the right. I've read that this could be a software bug with GT3, but wondered if anyone has any ideas. Could it be a problem with the wheel itself? I'm going to test it with some other games later on, so we'll see. Has anyone else that uses this wheel had any problems? If it is broken I think I'm just going to take it back, cough up the extra money and get the Pro.

Any help/suggestions are appreciated. :)

Make sure the wheel is not being touched while gt3 boots up, other than that i say return it and get another.
