Apologies in advance, impossible to find any threads in the normal DF among all the DFGT threads.

I found my old DF (the original with the blue handles) at my parents place from my GT3/4 days. Tried plugging it into GT5 and taking it for a whirl, but the FF on it turns it from snap oversteer to snap oversteer whenever you make a slight turn of the wheel.

I've played with all the settings, including decreasing FF and steering sensitivity to no avail. Any idea with what to do?
 
I see an image of the wheel in the GT5 menu, so it should just be plug and play... maybe it's broken. Have you tested it recently on a PS2?
 
I think that is normal, just don't be afraid to take hold of the wheel and fight the force feedback. It takes some getting used to.
