Hi,
I have a Logitech Driving Force wireless. I used it regularly on my pc and was given the cost it was, quite happy with it. I removed the standard support for your legs and replaced it so it can be fixed on a table quite easily. Now I bought GT6 for the PS3 as well as a little IKEA table.
The wheel works in GT6, but I don't have 200° of rotation, I only have 90°. I can see this in cockpit mode: when I turn to right, after 45° from the center the guy at the steering wheel is already at max lock.
I think the controller is recognized as a normal controller (not a wheel). Is it possible to make it recognized as another Logitech wheel? Maybe other workarounds?
Thanks,
Hannu.

Cockpit mode does not match wheel rotation. I have one of these, map it with one of the other older logitech wheels.

And 200 degrees rotation is lock to lock, meaning 100 degrees each way - which is very close to 90 degrees

Support on that wheel seems kinda spotty. Could be like you say, just trying to emulate your controller. I don't recall, but is the DFW listed in the options as a supported wheel? I read online that there is a PS button version and a non PS button version.
