Logitech G27 Compatibility

Its about time my Logitech Driving Force Pro gets retired. The FFB motor sounds like its ready to croak, one of the paddle shifters sticks, etc.

I want to get into iRacing as well as play GT5 and other racing and also arcade style games (like Hot Pursuit). I just want to make sure before I drop $220 on a wheel and pedals that the Logitech G27 is compatible with most stuff? Or does it have a lot of compatibility issues? I'm sure on the PC is great with everything, I'm more concerned with PS3 compatibility.

Most racing games accept most wheels, so you should be fine. All of the games I've tried work with my DFGT, though I appreciate that's a different wheel.

Basically what you want to do with these things is buy the popular ones, and the G27 is quite popular. The DFGT might be the most popular as it's the best value for money at the moment, and there's no guarantee that the H-shifter will work with everything, but it's a pretty safe bet that most games will support it. You might want to check the particular games you want to play most beforehand, though.

I'm using my G25 with GT5 fine. It has like a settings menu thing for it, including the G27 as well.
