Hi everyone!
recently I have encounter a problem
for members who use G27 for gt5, do all of you realised that the steering will keep shaking left and right non stop! For the fanatec wheel, there's a setting on it's own wheel that can increase the deadzone, but anyone know how to do fix this problem in g27?:dunce:

thx~:dopey:

I too have noticed this problem, and have found its far more noticeable on tracks like Daytona (the speedway not road version) along the fast straights. Was finding getting gold on the NASCAR Challenge almost impossible, ended up switching back to DS3 to try it and got gold first time.

I do hope my money I spent on the G27 hasnt been wasted :scared:

Tried it on a few other games and no problems, seems its a conflict with the wheel and gt5, and a search on logitechs forum would suggest its firmware related.I'm now torn between sending the wheel back, or trading in gt5 for a new game.

nessesary to send it back just for a firmware?

From what I've read on here and on Logitechs forums PD won't fully support the g27 due to something in the firmware of the wheel allowing users to change gear without losing speed.

I found that on logitechs site, and have not heard anything to suggest that this has changed, and also found that apparently the wheel became worse after the GT5 1.06 patch.

All I know for certain is that this game is the only one the wheel seems to be having issues with, so in my opinion the wheel is not "faulty", but the problem actually lies in some sort of compatability issue between the G27 and GT5.

I'm by no means an expert though so if someone can correct me if I'm wrong that would be great.
