My G27 all of a sudden is completely dead. No calibration when plugged into the wall (with no LED) and no detection when plugged into the computer. I bought it used, so I'm not sure if I'm covered under warranty? I am very experienced in electronics however and can do soldering on small components if needed.

Has this problem happened to anybody else? I checked the power supply voltage and it is working properly. Does Logitech sell replacement boards? Also, the guy I bought it from said he purchased it in Feb. of 2011.

Thanks!

I think the warranty is 3 years but I don't know if it's transferable, it wouldn't hurt to ask. If the answer is 'go away' pop it open and do some tests I guess, but as far as I'm aware you can't buy a replacement logic board from them. If you're lucky it could just be a fault in the USB cable.

check the power cord from the PS3 to the wall socket or have a look at the transformer box might not be working or check the wall socket or plug the PS3 power cord into another wall socket and check the USB cable.

Try plugging your usb cable into your PS3, if it doesn't work at all, it sounds like a usb issue. The wheel should work on the PS3 with only usb plugged in - without power cord - you won't get any force feedback or lights but it still works without power cord.

That's the problem with used wheels, you never know what you're gonna get.
