I ordered my Logitech G27 on boxing day, it's currently en-route and with a bit of luck (hoping you'll all cross your fingers for me here guys) arrive tomorrow. If not it will be Friday.

I built a wheelstand with an adjustable angled pedal stand but was wondering what the underside of the G27 pedals are like. I found a huge, thin non-slip mat in Poundland of all places, and thought it might come in handy.

If anyone could tell me what the underside of the pedals is like surface/grip wise, or if I would be able to attach a few strips of this adhesive non slip mat I would really appreciate it.

There's holes in the underside, so you could drill them the same in your pedal stand? That way you can mount the unit and be sure it won't move.

See here, from >>> Chilicoke<<<, the six holes NOT marked red:

That might be quite a good idea, thanks for the post pal.
Judging by the look of the underside your suggestion may be the best option. Ill try stapling the anti-slip stuff to the pedal stand and see if it holds. If not i'll put your plan into action.

Can't wait until tomorrow. Feels the same as Christmas :grumpy:

Don't jump into drilling holes until you have used the pedals enough so you can make sure how far left/right forward/back you like them first then drill away. Just an ideal here. You can use some "tool drawer liner" to help them from moving around. Also when you get your wheel be careful unpacking them as on the G25 wheel the packing was very tight watch out for the wires coming out of the pedals when unpacking, make sure you "loop" the wires on the underside of the wheel base also. Watch to make sure the wires coming out of the pedal base don't get crimped (bent) when bolting them onto your base plate.

Good idea. Definetely think i'll take a bit of time to get used to how they feel before I start making my own wee additions.
Could you elaborate on what you mean when you say its packed tightly? Im unsure why I have to be careful. Heh.

On the G25 wheel when unpacking the pedal base the wires were folded in a not so good way. The package isn't bad just tight fit just go slow getting everything out of the box. Yes it will be almost like Christmas again just don't rip open the box and you'll be wheeling for a long time.
My G25 setup:

Still working on seat setup.

Cheers for the advice pal. Still really can't wait. Just having a few more goes round the ring with the controller, set up new PSN to start over to learn how to use the wheel.

Your setup looks really awesome, but it has exposed a flaw in my plan.
MY SHIFTER PLATFORM IS ON THE WRONG SIDE. I blindly followed the sketches I did which were inspired by what i saw on here.
Im British so I change gears with my left hand. Curses. Now i have to go fix this.
