Logitech g27 reverse gear dosent work

HI all i have a problem in game i bought yesturday g27 from shop and now when i play gt5 i cant get reverse with h shifter.i push stick down and slide to the 6 gear place like in real life but it seems nothing works for me:S is it broke or problem in game ? one guy told me his reverse gear works perferct in gt5 witg gt27:grumpy:
 
You bought it yesterday so just return it for another one. It seem like you are doing things right when shifting into reverse so it's probably the G27 itself.
 
Not sure what your problem is, maybe it is the shifter. I have a g27 and it works great.

Are you using MT or AT? If you are using AT you have to use the "triangle" button for reverse.
 
Yeah I've got that It's difficulty to find the gear but I managed to do it. In automatic it is the triangle button above the gears. But in manual it is far harder to access as you really have to force it in there. It's around gear then right, try practice mode to get used to finding it when you need it.
 
make sure you push down and to the right of 6th, I have missed reverse and ended up in 6th some. still getting used to it and I love it :D
