Not sure if really newsworthy, but I've just seen a computer retailer in southwest Germany receive a bunch of Logitech G27 wheels in a new packaging. The boxes looked similar to the packaging of their new Gx00s mice (here: http://www.anandtech.com/show/6855/capsule-review-logitechs-g100s-g500s-and-g700s-gaming-mice) with a picture of the product on top left half like a photo, right half blue-ish see-through.
Might be an indication that a) new G27 are still being produced and b) a successor might not be imminent. Went there to replace my broken smartphone, so could take no pictures, sorry.
