Hey guys!

Trying to decide which wheel I should buy.
Deciding between G27 and DFGT.

G27 is a pricey wheel compared with DFGT. For half the price I can get the DFGT.

G27 > new: 260 €, used: 200 €
DFGT > new: 115 €, used: 80 €

I don't really have a need for a clutch. I'm into Project Cars and Dirt series and it seems to me that sequential are just fine enough.

What do you think I should go for?

G27. Better rim, better pedals, better FFB, separate stick shifter.

I own/have owned them both, and the G27 was pretty awesome. I have a DFGT as my backup/guest rim now, and honestly I kind of wish I'd kept the G27 in that role.

So you think that even being a newbie and g27 price tag, I should save up for one instead of DFGT?

You'd want to be getting a used DFGT for much cheaper than that. I picked one up for AU$20 (around 15 euros). Otherwise, spend a bit more and get a LOT more - the G27.

The biggest drawback of the DFGT is that the pedals are pretty poor, even for basic pedals, and there is no CHEAP replacement or magic bullet mod that fixes that. Besides that, DFGT is decent and works, and has lots of buttons, although the steering feel isn't nearly as good as G27's is.

Thanks to PCARS wheel prices are UP right now, so G27 is back over $200US ($240US on Amazon)... but still, it's worth it.

Just bought the G27. Geez what a difference from my old wheel. By the way, Dirt 3 is giving me pain! Also just bought Project Cars.
