Hi guys,

I have a Logitech G27 wheel that I've tried to set up to play GT6 for the first time today. It was the first time I was trying to use the wheel with GT6, and the first time I was using it in about half a year. Overall I bought the wheel a bit over a year ago and have barely used it (probably less then 10 hours of gaming with it) so even though it sat around and collected dust a lot, I really have a hard time believing it could have simply broken.

Anyways, the problem is that the wheel itself does not work, I try turning it but nothing happens. Everything else (pedals, gear shifter, even the lights on the wheel that indicate when to change gear) works.

I've tried unplugging the wheel and re-plugging it into a different USB port, tried restarting the game and the PS3 system multiple times, none of it works.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also check the plugs on the bottom of the wheel.

This is a random fact, but I've heard that the insides of the motor can corrode over time if not used and stored in a damp spot. try the basics first though.

It sounds exactly like an unplugged wheel. The wheel needs 2 things plugged in, the USB to the ps3, as well as an electrical cord (120V) for the wheel power. Also make sure the plugs under the wheel are all tight.
