Good day all. I have a quick question, I came back to my home in Philippines after 9 months away. Before I left I did put a T-shirt over the steering wheel to protect it from getting dusty inside there where the electrical components are (main console). The game (GTS) is all updated and when I tried my old and new cars they all failed to being controlled properly. It is like the motors are "misfiring" down the straights like no linear curve when trying to increase the speed. Doen anybody have any idea what this can be? Thanks for taking the time! Appreciated. Have a good day.

It's a bit hard to exactly understand what you mean, but I take it that the pedals on your G29 are not functioning properly?
I would start by disconnecting all the cables from the steering wheel and then reconnecting them again. If you then connect the USB cable to the PS4 and the G29 calibrates, you should be fine.
Start up the game and when loading a race, press all the pedals to the floor one by one.

If it still doesn't work, keep an eye on the in-game throttle and brake gauges and let us know, how they act when either of the pedals is applied.

Might not be the wheel at all, could be the tyre model update that was introduced recently (maybe). The cars do handle differently now.

It could be a dirty potentiometer. Is the throttle gauge is flickering? Spray some pot cleaner (not WD40) in the pots. I had to do it a few times on my G25. You probably have to remove the base of the pedals to get to them.

Thanks a lot raghza, I gave it try yesterday and I even made a good treatment of electro cleaner but it didn't really help me. I went and bought a new wheel (G29 again) today - best they had there. I changed the wheel first this morning and not the pedals. It worked much better but as you said that part if icould be related to the pedals. Changed the pedals as well and now I'm back in the chair. ( All working well = I'm Happy) . :) . Cheers

I had throttle problems on my G29, had to open it and fix the potentiometer with a contact spray and now it's just fine again !
