Hello, I've been having this issue lately on my G29 where my right paddle shift doesn't click into the next gear everytime or it skips a gear and goes to the next. This problem is getting worse everytime I use it. Has this happened to anyone before or does anyone have a solution to the problem?

One thing that's cropped up a few times is that one or more of the wires in the cable between the wheel and the base breaks, but still makes connection most of the time, which as it gets worse often ends up with the wheel not calibrating.

All I can suggest is to watch it for a bit longer, keeping an eye of whether it's worse when the wheel is turned rather than straight. OTOH, if the problem just stays on only one shifter then it could be something else like a dodgy switch.

I have used my G29 nearly every day for the last 13 month, I have not heard of your problem and it is still under warranty ?.

What game are you playing? You're not playing a game that simulates gearbox damage like F1 2017, are you?

Thanks for the suggestions guys but I think ill replace my G29 with a Thrustmaster T300rs sometime next week :) How reliable is the T300rs by the way?

Had mine 6 months now, only fairly light use but no issues so far and has a nicer feel than the G29. If you like strong FFB then it's probably worth setting the fan to always on (using the PC software) to avoid overheating. Personally, I like FFB fairly mild and set it in AC to 40% (vs about 80% for the G29) - I'm thinking that heats it up slower and allows the automatic fan mode to work OK.

I just tipped the poll off evens :D Of course, polls like that are liable to be heavily skewed towards the negative since people know straight away when they have an issue. I don't know if it means much, but that thread seems quieter recently.

I know this is old but I had this exact issue. I called Logitech and after giving them my serial number they simply sent me A NEW WHEEL AND PEDALS! I didn't even need to send my broken one back!
