These days I'm using default options except the steering linearity slider (or somewhat - i have russian localization) which is 50% instead 100%. And i turned on soft lock option. So my wheel has 450 degrees in the game 
May be I'll change to less than 50%, need more playtime.
And don't use 5% for steering linearity slider
