My GT force wheel has developed a problem and i cannot understand how it works. The problem is consistent during the actual driving portion of the game.
What happens is that once the race/track actually starts and im given control of the car. I push the acceleration pedal all the way down and it works fine, but then when i let off it somehow triggers the brake pedal to go to half-power. Strange problem as then the brake only de-activates once the accelerator pedal is pushed further than halfway. So the car is always either more than half power acceleration or half-power braking.
I worked out it was half power once i hooked it up to the PC and looked at the configuration screen. I think it must the wheel thats causing this problem as i have tried it with 2 sets of pedals and both have similar problems.
Also, when i umplug the pedals during gameplay the car goes into full acceleration, when i plug them back in goes to half-power braking. The wheel seems to actually be able to function, it just seems uncalibrated but ive tried several times with no success.
Any suggestions?
