logitech momo racing wheel

i posted the same thread in the wrong section but i dont know how to move it, i hope its not breaking forum rules.

Im using the logitech momo (black) wheel which turns 270 degrees or 240 degrees im not too sure, my question is how much faster am i going to be if i upgrade the wheel to say a dfgt or g25? does anyone have any first hand experience?

im playing gt6 if that helps.

I used to have that wheel, now have G27. The g27 gives you more control and you are going to have way more fun, but will be harder to drift/correct and you will be way slower at first because you are used to 270.

thanks for the reply! so are we talking like seconds faster or like few tenth of a second? cause if some of the fastest guys use a ds3 then it shouldnt be that significantly faster with a g25 or g27 right?

I was faster than some of the G25 guys back when I was racing online with the MOMO because 270 degrees and being a skilled kid let you whip the wheel around correcting anything and keep up to the pros. Now with the G27 I'm faster than the MOMO because I drove that thing to shat and the left turn is now broken...but before it was broken the MOMO was imprecise meaning you are relying on 20% more luck than the G27 where you have near perfect control. You would wipe out more on the MOMO and be imprecise as the wheel itself was cheap and imprecise.
