I have finally come to the stage where I need to start doing 4, 9 and 24 hour endurance races.
What cars did you use for the following to make it a challenge:
4 hour Nurburgring
9 hour Tsukuba
24 hour Le mans
24 hour Nurburgring

I don't want this to be 61 hours of doing laps in my X2010...

And how do you add music, I attach my portable hard-drive with all my music, how do you transfer the music from the hard-drive to the PS3?

I used my Audi R8 for the 4h nurburgring, it was good on tires. The only problem is that it was 4 hours of hot-lapping, the computers couldn't compete, I'd recommend waiting for Spec 2.0 just for improved AI.

4 hour Nurburgring - Different car each time I try it. Want to test out the various cars in my garage.
9 hour Tsukuba - Subaru IMPREZA Super Touring Car
24 hour Le mans - 787B
24 hour Nurburgring - 787B
Want a fun and challenging race? Try some of these cars 👍

for the 4 hours i used elise 111r RM its so easy on tires fuel.

how do you transfer the music from the hard-drive to the PS3?

Go to the music section of the main menu, wait for the hard disk icon to appear in the drop-down, hit triangle and select "display all" find the appropriate folder(s) and hit triangle again to select "copy." Should be pretty easy from there. In order to have it play in the game you need to go to options and enable personal bgm, then select the personal bgm folder. You can only play from one folder at a time in the game so I suggest dumping whatever you want into one and selecting that. (Honestly it's much easier to turn the race bgm off in the options menu and listen to music from another source.)

You should be able to do the Nurb 4h with a 420-450pp car, depending on what tyres you're using. I've done it 3 or 4 times, usually on a 3 lap strategy, out lap, hot lap, in lap. AI cars may start off fast, but they usually run too long on their tyres and brim the tank at every stop, which you should avoid.

Last time I used the premium civic saloon and it minced the fronts, while hardly touching the rears.

The RM Elise will most likely win it for you by a mile, it's light on it's tyres and generally very wieldy around the green hell.

To transfer music, go to the music portion of the XMB, then find your hard drive, click on what you want to copy. It's fairly easy:tup:. This will save 60% of your sanity!

For the cars: I'm including a couple threads that you can pour through. The 4h Nurburgring thread gives you competitive cars without blowing away the competition. The list is very comprehensive with HP, weight, and PP to help match. The 9h Tsukuba has similar cars, so you could use the same car for both 4h and 9h, or something similar. If you want to "make sure" you win. Just don't de-tune so much, or add some HP by tuning. I'd suggest a 500-525PP. The key is comfort. Here is also a discussion about the 24h Nurburgring race. For the 24h Le Mans, I'd just use an LMP car.

If he didn't he should play a different game as he's rubbish at this one :D

I haven't done the 4h Nurb, so I don't know what cars are in there. But an Elise 111R RM sounds not very impressive (hp-wise).
I guess the competition isn't as good as in 24h Nurb?

Edit: Saw the thread, I guess it isn't that hard to win with an Elise 111R RM.
