LONG SHOT!

Is there ANY WAY to get a message to Kazunori / Polyphony? We have a great race track in College Station Texas that appears to be on the verge of going away! Texas World Speedway's demise has been rumored for so long that most of us sort of considered it the boy that cries wolf syndrome. However, this time, it really does seem that the wolf is at the door.

Saving the actual track is probably out of the question at this point however, the greatest idea came up the other day when a buddy mentioned that the track really needs to be digitally scanned to be saved 'virtually' forever (pun intended :-).

Anyway, time is short. The track could be done with racing as early as the end of this year. I really believe that if Kaz knew of this impending disaster, he could actually make this happen.

Help me guys, somehow, we have to be able to get this info to him, HELP!

Thanks for that post but, it seems to be going beyond that at this point. The city council has unanimously approved a 'MUD' for the developer along with his plans to develop a residential community. Two big problems for the survival of the track: Infrastructure has deteriorated to the point where they cannot support large spectator events (the track is used for all types of club racing and DE events) AND, the town has been creeping closer and closer to the track making it both more valuable (development wise) and less tolerable (noise wise). This is a bad combination, unfortunately.

Digitizing (scanning?) the track would save it 'virtually' forever! Far better than nothing!

HELP!
